In 2008 I was looking for a holiday for myself and the family.  What I found was information overload from lots of very similar sites.  There were thousand of packages, hotels, villas, islands then on top of that there spas, holiday clubs, activity holidays, safaris.  However most of the sites were only gave you an option to search by date or location, or one type of holidays  - no good if you didn’t already know what you were looking for.   Then there were sites that would say this beach in Cuba is better than this beach in Puerto Rico; or sites that had lots of ideas but didnt really give you the run down so you were unsure if they really were your thing.

So I have set up this site and this blog with the intention of helping you (and perhaps your family) find your ideal holiday  -  one that ticks all the right boxes for diverse set of requirements.  So if you are prepared to think outside the box a bit please have a rummage around.

The core of the site is a specially commissioned application that profiles (interogates) you about your wants and needs, like and dislikes,  then it produces a list of possible holidays and destinations that should be suited exactly to you.  I hope it gets you thinking.

The rest of the site and this blog  is dedicated to getting you thinking about what you want , what you need from a holiday and what type of accommodation would suite you.  It also gives the pros and cons for different types of holidays so you can see if they are fit for you.   

Additionally there is other useful safety and travel information, plus a very comprehensive packing list.

I hope this is not something run of the mill and provides a fairly unique service.   A final word, we are totally independent of any travel company, but obviously we support this site through advertising and affiliate marketing.
